It seems like there is no rhyme or reason to the parole board's decisions. Is that really the case?

He has to serve I think 2/3 of his sentence to be eligible for parole. And they may not even let him get out then... We don't know yet. It's still all very new.

My husband was sentence to 10 years without probation, 85%, anything. He has to do the whole 10 years flat but the good news is he's already did 7 years so we only have 32 months left on this long journey.

He has to serve 50% of a 25yrs (yup, 3g offense here too). I am hoping and praying (against odds, I know) that he will make his first parole... but we all know that only time will tell.

Does anyone know if its possible for them to go see the parole board and still have to serve 85 percent? my love goes to see the parole board next year, but I thought most cases in Missouri were now causing them to serve 85% ??

Mine is in New York and has been in 21 years. 2017 is his parole date, but with life at the end they could just keep him. He will be on parole for life, however I've heard that if they have good reporting after 3 years they can be released from parole.

Mine has to serve 85% of 25 before he can be eligible for parole on a 25-life sentence. We're 15 years in so it's getting closer

No parole in the Feds. R's doing (approximately) 85% on a 30-year sentence. He's been in for 20 years so far.

He has to serve 100% of his sentence. No parole. I think I might have posted elsewhere that he had to serve 85%, but I was wrong.

He has to do 100% of 30 years before possibility of parole. 13 done so far. We'll be hiring a lawyer in the next 5 years and see if anything can be done. His case is laden with problems so we've got a lot of work ahead of us.

My wife has to serve 85% of her sentence before she'd eligible for parole. With good time, she'll serve 55 years of a 70 year sentence if she makes parole her first time.

My son got an 8.5 year sentence at 85%, no parole. He has 3 years mandatory supervised released after he serves 7 years 4 months making the total time 10 years 4 months on an 8.5 year sentence.

Explain that one!!!
