Post Visitation at Columbia Work Camp

My fiance just moved to the work camp at Columbia CI and I'm trying to apply for visitation on jpay and its saying that the visitation application isn't available for him. Has anybody experienced this and what does it mean? I already sent in the application off of the DOC website to the email it says on it for Columbia but I'm not sure how long that takes to hear anything back.

I would trust the one to the prison.

You don't use Jpay for visit applications. Only to send money, emails, and if they have video visitation. You still need to be approved by the DOC.

I know I need to be approved for visitation in general but I would only be using video visitation because i cant make it to the actual facility. So basically I just need to wait for that application to be approved and that should be the only thing i need to submit to be able to do the video visitation? I don't have to worry about whatever application is on Jpay correct? Also is there an amount of time that they have to be in the facility before they can qualify for visitation? Thank you so much ladies! Every one of you make this process and all the questions that come with it so much easier!

yes for video visits they have to approve you for visitation then that becomes available. dont worry about the jpay one, the facility itself approves you then lets them know and it allows you to schedule them after that.
