Question about mail (Can minors send mail to an inmate that is not their parent?)

Hey Ladies

I was wondering if anyone knew if at prison in Iowa if the inmates can receive pictures either colored or painted by children.

I know in county jail, I tried sending him something and it got returned...but he thought he could get something now...so I was wondering if any of you might know!!!

Ok dont know how I just did that but,,,, I am not for sure if they can or not, I am sending a card with a picture my son drew and colored sooo I guess we will see!!!!

My husband is at IMCC and he was able to receive pictures that children of a friend of ours drew for him. Inmates children are also able to color pictures in the visiting room and they can take those back with them too so it should be OK.
