I live in VA and he is in OK. It's hard because I can't visit him, but he gets out in 6 months!

The man is in California and I am in Arizona, when and if he gets a date next year we will still be apart him in California and me here, it is doubtful they will give him a transfer to arizona! It would make me happy but I am realistic and I just want him to get out from behind the wall! If he has to stay in his state then we will have to manage to make it work!

i dont thhink that it'd be harder to say g'bye even if he was in another state. I think itd be just as hard as it is now. knowing that i can walk out of there and he cant.... knowing he wont be there when i wake up...

Different country here!!! He´s in Nevada...and I´m in Germany!!!
I didn´t manage to see him yet, but I have made proper plans!!!
I wouldn´t have guessed things could be so hard to cope with...but I KNOW he´s worth it!!!

I was in florida, he is in georgia. I drove the first time to see him a grueling 8 hours. The next three times i flew which was once a month. Then we decided it was costing too much to keep doing all that renting a car, motel and airline tickets, so I moved. Now it's a 2 hour drive to see him.

I'm flying to Michigan for my first visit to see my man next Friday. I'll see him Friday (fresh off the plane...just couldn't wait) and Saturday, but due to some drama in his family I might not get to see him again during my vacation like he and I hoped. I know I'll cry when I leave that day because I'm not sure if I'll get to come back later during the week and who knows when I'll be able to come back to Michigan next.

Background to our story: I grew up in Michigan, so I still have friends there, he's there (I met him when I was 14), and his family is there (I'm close with his mom and his sister). My point is that I'm not just going to Michigan to see him, but he was my motivation behind the trip. Where I will be staying for a majority of the trip is 3 hours away from where he is. I just found out his sister was denied visitation, but his mom was approved and I have a feeling she is going to use not having a car as an excuse. Also, no one has gone to see him since he left county jail more than a year ago. He wants me to visit him again before I leave, but by that time I will have already gone above and beyond to see him in the first place. I was really depending on his mom and sister to be my way.

I'm in another state. We're getting married but my son is going to be starting college in the fall and we don't want to pay out of state tuition so we're staying put for now, but I miss him terrible. I am from NY and I DESPISE it. NOT looking forward to moving back but I just might once my son is done with Community College. I miss my Honey terrible and would love to be able to visit every month or every other weekend or something if I was close. So we'll see. It does suck.

We live in Honolulu on Oahu and he has a short sentence so they aren’t sending him off island. There really isn’t anywhere they can put him that I can’t take a bus too. Each unit has a different schedule I was really lucky to get times I don’t have to miss work for. I get to see him for two hours every Tuesday before work, for an hour bright and early Saturdays, and an extra hour on federal holidays.

Reading what so many of you have to go through to see your guys makes me appreciate what I have so much more. My boyfriend thinks I’m amazing for taking the hour bus ride to see him twice a week… by his standards I think that makes some of you candidates for sainthood.

Im in central NY and he's in SC he has 20 more years to go i try to see him every 2 months which is not enough but its a financial drain and as i support myself all i can afford.Luckily i can stay with his sister when i go so that helps somewhat.Biggest issue is he is to go to a low but as he's a federal prisoner he can go to any state we are hoping for NC so i can move down but finding a new job at 53 is not very easy.

My husband is in Arizona and im in Texas. It's so hard not being able to visit him. Last time i saw him was almost a year ago! I just dont have the money to go see him. I have to work and the money i make only pays the bills i have. I never have any extra money or i would save every penny i could to go see him.

I am in Florida and he is in NY I go up at least once a month but we having been lucky so far for me to go up every other weekend. I have alot of family and friends in NY so I have places to stay. I am also lucky that It does not cost alot from florida to NY. I can get flights sometimes for $75 round trip. So I fly into NY and then drive 2 hrs to see him. Thank god we talk two to three times a day too. I wish he could get transfered back home to florida but since the crime was there he has to stay there.
