Default help

I dont see McRae CI on your list. is it because it is a private facility? if you have any info on it can you tell me the visitation, phones privileges and condition. and are there any hotels closed by and how far away is the airport from a nearby hotel?

Default Asmp

I have a close friends at ASMP and I have been there two times and so far I have only took in about $10.00 in cash and they make you get change if you don't already have it. You can pretty much wear anything as long as nothing is showing, I was told no sandles with the toes out but there were some that got away with it. You can wear crop pants and capri pants as well. But I am a little confused about the contact part because I have seen people touch after the inmate first comes out of the dressing rm but because I am not sure so I just hug lightly when he first comes out and a little longer at the end

I visited Dooly, for what its worth it wasn't that bad. You were allowed to take in $20 in quarters, but no one really checked. You bring your ID, keys, coins and that's it. No sleeveless, shorts, or lots of cleavage. But the day I was there I saw wayy down this ladies chest, I'm sure her hubby was happy. I wore jeans, I saw ladies in capris and toes were showing all around. I got to smooch him in the beginning and end of the visit and extra long near the end. The food in the machines were not that great, and we really didn't eat much. He did enjoy the mountain dew though. No touching during the actual visit, but I managed to touch him on a few occasions. Pictures are $2 per shot- you get the cards out of the vending machine. And I got an extra kiss then- but I don't think we were supposed to. Visiting hours are from 9-3 Sat, Sun. I left when they said we had to leave. The guards there pretty much left us alone. There was one that was really a jerk. Apparently the inmates are not supposed to go next to the vending machines??? So he threatened to terminate visits because of that. Whatever. But every one there was okay, and the atmosphere in the room was great.

Default Coffee Correctional Facility

Coffee Correctional Facility - Private
1153 N. Liberty Street
Nicholls, Georgia 31554
912-345-5058

Days Inn - Alma, approximately 15 minutes from the facility.

You must be on the visitation list before you can visit.
When you visit, you will be required to give them your ID to hold while visiting. They will also hold your car keys during visitation. That's all they will hold for you.

Visitation is on Saturdays, Sundays, and all State Recognized Holidays.
Hours vary for the building and this changes every 3 months. So I recommend that you call before you visit and ALWAYS get the guards name that you talk to.
Don't show up too early, they will not allow you to sit in the parking lot til time. They do not open the gates early!!!

Dress: No clevage, no sleeveless tops unless you wear a sweater or jacket over it, Capris are allowed as long as they are past the knees, dresses are allowed as long as they are way past the knees.
They say no flip flops, but I've seen some in there.
Each guard is different, so if you're not sure if what you're wearing is appropriate, take a change of clothes just in case.

$20.00 in quarters are allowed. Most everyone takes these in either a clear change purse or ziploc bag. Some people take in bills, but the change machines seem to always be broke.

Vending machines have things such as candybars, chips, crackers, sandwiches, burgers, popcorn, pizza, hot pockets, that you can heat up in the microwave. Plenty of drink machines.

You only are allowed to go to the vending machines and the microwaves.

The only contact that is allowed is upon the beginning of the visit (touching respectfully, kissing, and hugging) and at the end of visit. Some touch occasionally during visit, but can be asked to leave if they're caught.

The visitation room is really pleasant and the guards have all been nice during my visits there. They are really good about allowing the kids to climb all over their loved ones.
Sometimes, the visitation rooms have filled up, having to ask the first to arrive to leave.
No smoking area at all during the visit.

I think I've covered it all. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to pm me.

So you know if you go to the Calhoun SP you will need to take ca jacket if its cold because they make you stand outside untill their clock reads 9 am, also you have to lock your car and turn in your keys as well as vehicle tag number or they will call you out of visitation and make you go through the entire process again just to lock your doors.

All of the prisons are the same way. Also, they do not let you in until count clears and sometimes it is after 9:00 a.m.

Default Scott State Info

Thanks. I called today and they told me that I could visit next Saturday. I am still trying to get MCI so he can call me. I have Comcast so I am having to get a prepay account. I don't know how long that will take but I am hoping to talk to him by Wednesday.

Yesterday 7/28/2007, I Went To Visit My Son At Burruss Correctional Training Facility, They Are Really Very Strcik.
No Shorts, No White Shirts, They Don Want To See Any Bra Lines, and No Short Sleeves, They Will Send You To Wal-mart Down The Street.
You Can Bring Change, No Pennies And No Dollar Bills. The Change Must Be In A Clear Plastic Bag.
Visititation Is From 9am-3pm Saturdays And Sundays.
My Husband And I Went, And My Daughter Will Be Able To Go And My Mom And Dad, But Anyone Else Have To Get Permission.
We Sat Across From Each Other And I Was Able To Hug Him When He Came In And When Our Visit Was Over.
You Can Get Him Anything From The Vending Machines But The Inmate Is Not Allowed To Go To The Vending Machine.
Yesterday Was My 51st Birthday And I Thought It Was A Gift From God That I Was Able To Visit.
I Wanted To Pos This For Anyone Who Might Need Info On Burruss Visitation.
God Bless
