Unfortunately lockdowns are extremely common here. They can be up for several weeks and then all of a sudden go on a lockdown :/

Anywhere from two days to three weeks is what I've noticed. My fiancé has been in here since February and we have been on lockdown it seems more than most places. I'm part of a group on FB and I usually hear about the lockdowns from one of the girls in the group.

It's on lockdown now that's why it took me two weeks before I heard from my fiancé because of the lockdown they were on when he got there

How often do they LD? I think my guy is heading there. He's been at Coleman I and they LD all the time, which means no vidits. Sounds like this place may be the same way.

They lockdown a lot. Then when they do come up it's a pain for phones and then sometimes the lock right back down. They have lockdown here around the holidays it seems like at least since my love has been here in February of this year. He's transferring from Coleman 1 to here?

Ugh. Yes, he is. I'm not happy about it at all. Coleman is horrible about LDs over absolutely nothing. So this is a place that we can't make plans to visit either.

They lockdown quite often. They just came off lockdown I believe yesterday. I haven't visited yet because it's too far for me and the lockdowns. Coleman is an hour away from me lol

You have to live close to Coleman to be able to see someone. They LD constantly over things that are petty. Big Sandy is too close to fly, yet far enough to be a long drive. Very discouraging.

Is there a lot of violence there, or are LDs over petty stuff?

Fights mostly but I believe a lot of petty stuff too. I don't ask my fiancé. I hate hearing about it. I just like knowing he's not the one in trouble and causing them

I'm new at this. And my boufriend has been in prison for 8 years. He's getting released in couple of months at 9:35pm. They have a taxi to come get him and than take him to bus station. I'd rather pick him up myself and wondering if anyone knows if I show up to pick him up is that fine ? He will be heading to a halfway house in home town and his check in will be the next day at midnight. He hasn't asked yet cause he doesn't want his release time to change. He would like to get out that night. Just wondering if anyone knows if I get him instead and send the taxi away if I can do that with him not getting in trouble. I'm not sure how it works.

If they have it set that way then that might be how he has to go. Especially if he's going to a halfway house. I couldn't take mine when he went to the halfway house last time. They are a little funny about it. If he says you want to take him they will change his arrival time to halfway house to earlier than midnight because they give him until midnight for taxi and bus time frames

That is what he was thinking too. I've asked him to just ask what if. But he hasn't yet. And originally he was going to take the taxi to the bus station and me pick him up from there and take him back. He's thinking that as long as he makes it to the half way house in time he's good. But I want to make sure he won't get caught up in anything.

Don't do it. If he does that they will know and you will get in trouble too

Thank you very much. I told him that too and he was thinking he would be fine. But I'm going to let him know that he needs to tell his counselor so that he's safe on his end. Thank you so much
