Are these pies the same size pies we buy on the outside? My Sweetheart ordered 7 of them. I am just wondering about where he is going to store them, and do they use tin pie pans? Anyone know?

Thanks for the info. , my son loved the costco fundraiser a while back. I will have to ask him about this one. I think it is great that the prisons sponsor these fund raisers but I will have to say they crack me up. Is it only VSP,that does this or do all the prisons?

I have mixed feeling about this, it is expensive, but on the flip side of this it is contact with the outside world through this food. Also, how safe is this food as it sits there being transferred to them then waiting for them to pick it up? I am not really looking for a reply to this, just talking out loud.
Anyways, if any one has the food sale list can you please post it.
Thank you

My husband said the prices were outrageous. Eight dollars for a sandwich and chips. And did you hear about the comedy show? Five dollars a ticket, not.fair for those who have or get little on their books.

Why didn't the VSP visiting staff -meaning everyone from A.W., Lt., ,and Sgt convey that some of the inmates were on quarantine and they would not be allowed to visit. Or was it the public information officer Lt's. (who by the way brushes me off every time, and never returns my phone calls) responsibility ?
Many visitors were turned away when they arrived some a very long distance. This is very discouraging, Maybe even passive aggressive?

My husband sent me the list for the food sale on September 20th. It's going to be KFC and the money is due.in on the 8th. Prices range from $10 to $17. I'll type up the selections as soon as I can do it on a real computer and not on my phone.

Question Food Sales or Costco Sale?

Hey everyone, does anyone know how the food sale thing works, where they periodically can buy goodies from outside restaurants or stores? And my husband said they're about to have a Costco sale too? Does he just need money on his books to participate or do I order somewhere ahead of time for him? Anybody??

Also another gripe of mine: lately it's been taking over 3 weeks for him to get my mail!! Grrrrrr!

For food sales he orders using money on his books. You don't have to do anything extra. I'm not sure what the Costco thing is, unless that's where the food sale is coming from this next time?
