Default Boyfriend Transferred in the Middle of the Night

So early this morning, I got a call that my boyfriend was transferred from the county jail late in the night to his prison location. How do I find out where he is? The lady from county was not able to tell me but I guess Iím a little worried because he was not suppose to leave til Friday and Iím not sure why she couldnít tell me if she called to tell me heís gone. I looked on TDCJ inmate info and he is not yet listed in the system. Words of encouragement or some info while I wait please. I am so new to how Texas does things.

Don’t take it personally... there’s a security risk involved in moving prisoners so they will never know exactly when, where, or how it’s happening until it is literally happening. Hang in there.

Hereís an update: I went to see if his name was listed this morning TDCJ system and it is not. He is still listed as being present in the county jail he just left from. I wonder if until heís cleared from their system he will not show up in TDCJ system???
Has anyone experienced this?

Unfortunately this is one of those examples of why being the outside support is so hard. The only thing I can tell you for sure is they have him somewhere. Meeting a man in prison and falling in love with him is what god had to send my stubborn ass to finally learn to be patient. I don’t know how long he is going to be in prison but there are times you will not hear from him for days. Always know they still have him and he is probably being fed and housed humanely. When I didn’t hear from him I would always write a lot, tell myself he was thinking g about me as much as I was him, remember that he always called me at first opportunity and I could call his mom after 3 days no word and she would call and check. Stay busy, and don’t make your whole life about him. I’m sure you will hear from him soon and I’m sorry it really does suck!

To still be listed on the jail website suggests that this was a move, not to TDCJ, but rather to a contract facility.
