Default Visiting 2 inmates in the same prison

Can you visit 2 inmates that are in the same prison? My brother and a friend are in the same prison. I am submitting the visitation form to visit my friend and it asks if you know any other prisoner in the system so I was just wondering if that affects getting approved.
Has anyone ever been in a similar situation?

Some states do not allow you to visit more than one inmate unless both are immediate family.

When I was at Sheridan, a man and his two children were incarcerated together. They were allowed to have the same visitors. The trick to having a combined visit was to have a 1:1 visit, then sit at adjoining tables. So you could in theory do this...but you would have to have a visitor for each inmate. You could not have one visitor for two inmates at the same time.

At FCI Phoenix I watched a woman visit her husband and son (both incarcerated together) at the same time. Just one visitor, one visit time.

I do not know how it would work if both aren't immediate family though. In the OP's case, neither of them are relatives.
