Which prisons in California have special needs yards?

I know Mule Creek has them.

Mule Creek is almost all SNY. Pleasant Valley has one, Lancaster, too.

Does any one know the list of dropped off yard or X yard or SNY - Special Needs Yard. My LO is doing paper work to go to a medium from a USP, but we don't know how close home they're sending him. Or what are the medium X yards? Thanks

There is no list of SNY facilities. Part of that has to do with the fact that over the last year, they have phased them out on Level 1 and 2 (he could be any level from 1-4). They got dinged for the way they did it and their process for flipping yards is "on hold". Until he knows what level he'll be inside of CDC, it's going to be a total crapshoot where he'll go. And the bottom line is-- with few exceptions, they send you where there's a bed. :/
