Question Mail size/page limit?

I printed some pages off the internet that I need to send to my son. It's 17 pages, standard letter size 8 1/2 by 11.

Is that too many pages? If not, can I put it in a big envelope so I don't have to bend the pages? Do I need to take the metal clasp off the envelope?

.
It all depends on which Michigan prison he is in. Some mail rooms have page limits. I have never had a problem with the clasp on a big envelope however.

Petey'smom~

I would send it in TWO seperate packages just to be safe! I have had several things returned because of too many pages printed from internet!

I've never had a problem with the clasp on a big envelope. I've mailed far more pages than that of things I have typed. I've never tried that many of something that I was just printing off though so I'd agree with ilovecharles, better safe than sorry and split it in half.

OK, that's what I'll do then. It's actually two different chapters of a guide so it'll be easy to split up. Thanks girls!

He'll probably get the second one first and then wait a week for the first one. It just works that way, for us at least. It makes me laugh. ;-)
