I haven't visited since november and things change so much....do you still just show up half hour before your visit and go into the building

half hour is still good, the CO checking you in is now inside.. Remember not to take anything with a hood. If you're late for your appointment they will not let u in and will till you to come back with the non appointment. I've heard someone say if the metal detector goes off 3 times they wouldn't let you in... No sure on that one because I've no seen them send any one back

I noticed that we can't bring in sweaters with hoodies, what about now that it's raining? No hu?? Can we bring in umbrellas?

I read somewhere that you can bring/wear those clear plastic poncho like things. Nice huh?

I wonder which idiot decided to give their guy a hand job at visit yesterday. She messed up every visit after by them following ALL visit rules to a TEE.

One quick kiss and hug at the beginning & the end. Hand holding but NO other touching, no leaning on each other, no arm around the back of the neck, heck not even an arm on the back of the chair.NO hands or anything near the laps, and the guys couldn't even go with you the the machines to see what they wanted. No walks around the room, the guys couldn't get up AT ALL unless it was their bathroom break or for a picture. We don't do all this stuff but most everyone else does and boy was it screwed up today.
I had to go change my pants when the ones I wore last time were 3x's tighter then what I was wearing today. Visiting kinda sucked because of it and I bet it will be like this for awhile

I would like to know how I can find out if KVSP is on lockdown in terms of being able to make calls? I am confused if they are able to do their jobs, make calls and/or go to yard when their facility is on lockdown.

Yes my two friends came with me last Sunday 06 without a scheduled appointment. I had a appointment at 1030 and Mendez allowed them to go in at the same time as me!

You shouldn't have a problem! My friend and I are going again this weekend and she only has an appointment for one of the weekends. Good luck!

So if I come strolling in at 10:30-11:00 I can get in? Do I wait in the parking lot under that roof or just go in?

I would suggest to be there 30min before 10am.

Theirs a note posted outside where the tent is that says you can't go in before 1030/11am or something like that. But that was FIRST time We have seen that note, so they walked in anyways just to ask where to stand or where to stand and Mendez just took them right in. And it was 10am when they got there pass.

I'm not sure and I don't know where you are coming from but what I do when I'm looking for a different way is to Google map the route that I know, then zoom out until you see some other road, freeways or whatever.

Great visit today...processing went smooth and fast.they did let h im go to the machines and walk around.but the y did just walk up and terminate three couples, at different timesno warning, not exactly sure why, I'm assuming excessive touching or something, don't know them so will have to wait until tomorrow and see what he found out when he got back. it was a great day though

Is it just certain yards that the inmates can't walk around or is it the rules with all yards? I think this rule is so stupid. Just another way to discourage families from visiting their loved one!

Glad you had a good visit and that they are relaxing in the rules a bit. Hopefully, by the time I make my way down there again it will be back to my normal . I've only visited there ONE time but it was really good
