I was going to ask the same exact thing. When was the letter dated. Iím hopinh he gets my letter tomorrow.

At this point I wouldnít be surprised if they go through this entire week, including the weekend on lockdown as Iím sure they donít want visitors yet. Iím hoping theyíre mentally staying sane after so many days.

I just received a letter from my son, just says that he's OK. Don't know when they will be allowed out of their cells.

I'm starting to feel much better. I feel all of your pain, but it feels so much better knowing that I'm not alone in this. This is the absolute worse feeling in the world, not knowing if my Teddy Bear is ok. If I get a letter from him this week, I will let all you ladies know. Thanks a million for the information.

I received a letter from a friend today stating that the lockdown was due to some type of racial fighting. I don't believe that they are getting their mail though because I send a few letters last Monday and he made no mention about them instead he stated that he hasn't heard from me. Those letters should have been received by now. The letter I got from him was dated Mar. 10th. He also does not know when it will be over. Patience is a tested virtue. H ope thos helps.

Received a letter from my husband this morning dtd 3/12. He had received my letter dtd 3/10. So the mail is good. He heard the issue was young Puerto Rican and young blacks fighting. They brought these guys up from Miami because that facility was locked down often. So here we are now with tis 'gift' of trouble. Hope this situation gets a solution.
My husband also told me they get showers every few days and their clothes are being washed. They get cereal in the morning, hot lunch and a bag for dinner. Because we are older, this all is important to us.
Well everyone, it has been awhile since I got a nice, handwritten letter like the 'old days'. Although I don't like the reason, it makes it so personal in this impersonal world of today. Hope this cheers everyone up!! God bless all of you with His peace and assurance.

This has been the longest lockdown they've experienced in the two years I've been going there on visits. The current LT's there try to run it like a pen. They have no compassion for the guys that stay out of trouble in there and just lump them in with the others...smh. Hope it's true they go off lockdown this week prior to the next visit weekend.

Default Coleman Medium Lockdown Update

Spoke with someone whose husband is at Coleman. She said he emailed her right b4 the lockdown and said there was a really bad fight on the yard. Past experience with lockdowns this usually means someone was severely injured or died and they will remain on lockdown until the FBOP completed their investigation. My son is at Coleman. I sent him a letter last week, but haven't heard back yet. Hopefully, they'll lift it soon. We have to continue to pray for their sanity & safety at all times!!

My son is at Coleman, but I haven't heard from him. A friend of mine spoke with her husband right b4 the lockdown and he told her it was a really bad fight on the yard. From my experience, a lockdown this long means someone was severely injured or died and FBOP will not lift the lockdown until they complete their investigation. We have to pray daily for our love ones safety & sanity while they r in there

**Updat**Just heard from my son. They let them out but he's not sure if they're going to leave them off lockdown. He was only able to talk for a quick minute. Keep your phone's close because if they call and u miss it Hos only knows when they will be able to call again. He emailed as well
