Default Please Help Me Calm down!

I have waited for this day and it is tomorrow, I am freaking out, its been building for a bit, but today I feel like I am going to have an all out panic attack. I am so nervous about him coming home, I thought I would be nothing about excited but right now I am a bundle of nerves. I am worried his release will get screwed up, I am worried I am too fat, I am worried the house is not clean enough, I am worried about everything. I can't focus, I am a wreck. Is this normal?

Calm down!! I'm sure he'll be too happy to be with you to notice how clean the house is! And he's coming home to YOU so thats all that matters.
Its normal to be nervous, but try not to stress so much.
Enjoy it and best of luck to you both

Wow, thanks for the post. It's gotta be normal cuz I am going through the same thing. In the last 6 weeks I have quit smoking, went on a diet and cleaned my house religiously. Everyday I think of something else that just may be not quite right that I need to fix. I pick up my Husband in just 3 weeks to bring him to the HWH (7/20 is home sweet home) and I haven't seen him in 5 years! Girl you are not alone!! Good Luck and congrats!!

Oh boy I'm with you on this one!!

I've been cleaning like crazy! I even put tile on the floor when I could have just waited for him!

It's so weird! Everytime I think I'm done then I say "oh I want to get that done too" and put it on my "to do" list of things I want done before the 13th.
I just want everything perfect so when he comes home all he has to do is be with me but my kids swear that I'm losing my mind....

Thanks guys, I feel better now that I left work and could clean, I just could not focus at work today! I am cleaning the house I just took a break, its 10:00pm. I have been told he could get out anytime between 9am-6pm tommorow. I will get up (if I can even sleep!) at 6:00am to get ready in case he gets out at 9, I have to drive an hour to pick him up. I am less nervous. I can not even begin to tell you how much PTO means to me. No one understands and its been amazing to discover a community of people who care and understand. I have never met stronger people. I hope that things go well between me and him and he is able to readjust. I am prepared for hard times, and I hope I can continue to be strong for him. Thank you, Thank you PTO!!!!!

Well good luck to you...And I think its totally normal to feel that way. As you can see from the ticker I'm in the teens and I'm just anxious at this point, but I'm sure as it gets closer I will have so many emotions going on....Happy Homecoming !

My man was sitting outside the jail waiting for me Friday morning. Friday, I was a little nervous, but our reunion could not have gone better, I think that we are stronger now as a couple having gone through this together. I have noticed that some decisions are overwhelming to him and that he does not want to be around a lot of people. He can also get really quiet sometimes and I have to fight to not talk to much during those times. So far things are going well. Good Luck to each one of you,
Andrea
