We have both kept ALL letters and cards I even kept the ones from my kids seperated. I was gone for 2+ so thats a lot of letters. Well we had a big pit fire to celebrate no more letter writing just talks in each others arms. (But I did keep the cards.)

I Keep every letter. I consider it a part of our past, and we can't just erase it. I think it will be crazy to look back and read all of them in 10 years.

I have all of his letters, including the ones he wrote me the last time he was locked up. I keep those seperate though, and all of his letters are organized by postmark date.

I have every single letter from my husband, letters from each year are kept in a separate gallon sized ziploc bag.(I don't want them to fade) It's obvious the written word is something special.

I keep all of his letters, and find myself reading them over and over again.

I keep absolutely everything that my husband sends me! I end up reading them everytime I get to missing him. It helps me deal with him being gone. It keeps me closer to him!!

I keep all the letters that I get from my friends, and my boy-friend, I have them all organized in a binder by the latest date first, and the recent date last. I love getting letters from my man, and I'm gonna keep every one of them til he gets out in April

Keep 'em all. Will never get rid of any of them. They are, afterall, the memories we can't yet create together.

I have all the letters my husband sent me ever since he was in county jail. I keep them all in a plastic box (which is overflowing now). I try to keep them in order and read them every once in a while when I start missing him.

I organzie by date. Sadly they are also seperated into which jail sentance they are from. He's had three stints in jail since I met him. Four if you count the one overnight thing.

Default Keeping Letters

I write to him everyday, and send out three letters a week to him. By the time I get replies from him, I sometimes forget what I had written, so I started photocopying my letters before sending them, and then organizing both my sent and his responses in a leather bound book.

I am so glad that I am not the only one that has more paper than any human should have in my home. Sometimes I wonder what my odds for a house-fire are since I have so many letters!

Happy Thanksgiving All!

I have every letter in a box, well boxes actually. Letters from before he went in, since he's been in, everything from movie ticket stubs to little notes he's left around the house. Everything. LOL. I'm always pulling them out and reading them. My son thinks it's funny, he says mommy why are you reading them again, you already know what they say you read them enough.

Yeah I'm a shmuck when it comes to sappy little things like letters. I have them all in this huge tupperware box. He's been down for over five and a half years, so I have a lot of letters in there. It's a good thing tupperware is durable!!!!!!
