Default ? About the 85% time served and date. TIA

He went in Jan 12th had 4 days credit was sentenced to a year and a day. My calculations is 311 days which would be Nov. 8th about. His CO told him Oct 12th. I know they get 10 days each month for work but i thought it couldnt count if it adds up to less then 85% of time. Is my calculations correct or should i go by his COs date. His Co in reception told him things tgat didnt transpire so i guess thats y im 2nd guessing things. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks again!

He only has 4 days credit? That seems like a very low number. Any time be spent in a county jail waiting for court dates, transfer, etc should count as credit for time served. That might be where the discrepancy is.
You are right about the 10 days a month until they hit that 85% though. I would follow up on how many days he is actually getting credit for.

Yes he was only in 4 days county before we hired an attorney and bailed out. Luckily he only did those 4 days but took 2 years to get a plea deal. Then judge gave us 30 days before he had to turn himself in.

Oh, I see. Well forget that idea then lol I guess the best thing to do would be to call his new classification officer since he's at his permanent camp. They are usually pretty helpful. Hope you get it figured out! Sorry I wasn't of more assistance.
