Corcoran prison unit on lockdown after inmate attacks officer

CORCORAN, Calif. -- The Substance Abuse Treatment Facility at Corcoran State Prison is on lockdown today following an inmate's attack on a female officer.

I called the hotline and all SATF is on LD- wonder which yard it happened on? I hope she is ok!

It happened on C yard. She was treated and released from the hospital.

I did read some of the commends and it amazed me to see the language which is spoken. thanks to pto such a language is not allowed here!

it is just sad this happened.... the same happened in CSP SAC..... but if there is more and more pressure on these guys, such attacks will be more often. it has been proven in animal testing what happens when the stress level raises and raises!

I dont like violence, but I either like pressure to push somebody to violence. the statistics show where this pressure comes from....

i'm sorry to hear this happened to the officer but i do hope all will be done with before next weekend. right before valentines day and i was planning to go see my man. hope the officer does heal good though.
