Question What's really in these shots?

I wasn't sure where to place this thread but here we go:

When my LO first was taken in to the FLDOC, he refused to take the vaccinations/immunizations that they wanted to pretty much force on him. He was able to get away with it the first time. A week or so ago they called him down to medical in order to do it again. He had called me the night before and told me he had reservations about taking the shots. They will not tell him what is in the bottle, or what it is even for. It freaks him out. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned either.

Before anyone thinks we're just paranoid, I come from a military family who were all told "shut up and take this" when it came to shots. Let's just say it had bad consequences. Really bad.

I just want to know what they are trying to put inside of him, and the fact that they just won't tell him is shady to the both of us. Of course I don't want him to get sick with anything serious, because I know what kind of diseases and things run rampant inside the prison system. He knows that too. He just wants better clarification that the staff is not giving him.

Ultimately, he did not take them this second time, and they threatened him with the hole if he refused a third time.

Anyone have any ideas?

Punishment is a distinct possibility if he refuses to take the shots, so he will have to decide which of the two outcomes he is most comfortable with accepting. The prison system has 100% of the power as long as he is in there.

I also had bad reactions to the black plague and smallpox vaccinations in the Army, but we didn't have any choice there either.

I dont understand why they wont tell him what they are giving him.
I would be hesitant too if they wouldnt say what it was for.
Its probably all fine, but they should tell him what they are giving him, and what its for.
