Default Refusing the phone payment??!

Is this a sign of the apocalypse?!?!? One thing those phone companies have nevr had any problems doing was taking money! I have tried three times to give them money today! Got info entered and press 1 press 2...blahblahblah... Then the always lovely to deal with computer voice says hold for the next agent and then angs up on me! Theyre not letting me pay the bill!!!! Somethings mega-fishy about that!!!

Some limit the amount of money that can be put on an account each month. Securus did that to me once. Had to pay cash through Western Union or MoneyGram, I don't remember which. I do remember the teller saying she had not seen a fee that high to pay a bill. It was $2 or $3 over the usual.

An automated phone system disconnecting is NOT a refusal to accept payment. It is a glitch. It happens. It is no different than my not being able to access my cell account this morning to check a balance.

There are plenty of other options to make payments. Sending a check likely has no fee. Paying online will likely HAVE a fee, just as would paying by phone. There is generally no issue with an overpayment when paying by check, and if you know your typical expenditures for phone calls, that becomes the easiest way to do things...
