I still can't believe it. To go from constant stress to an immediate overjoyment and hearing your spouse cry when she tries to act so tough inside, is about as out of body experience I've ever had. How quickly life can change with a snap of a finger. She earned it though. I am so proud of the work she did to fix her addiction and the root of it. To mentor other women who came in just like she did. Who I'm getting when I get to pick her up is not the same person who went in. It's not even close.

So excited for you!!! Mine is coming home via work release next week we believe. Still unsure of that whole process, but we will figure it out.
Everything is about to change!! For the better!!

Awesome news! I'm very happy for both of you! The first song that played on my clock radio this morning was U2's (nothing changes on) New Years Day.
...want to be with you
Be with you, night and day
Nothing changes on New Year's Day
My wife says she feels frozen in amber like a million year old mosquito.

Was looking for something positive to read on here, so I'm glad I found this. It puts a smile on my face to read that someone had success and gets to come home to be with their family. It makes me hopeful, when I'm feeling so hopeless right now.

She has worked her ass off to be in this position. It's a bit odd she doesn't want to tell her family, but maybe its such a shock to us that we are keeping it some what in house. She's got insurance paperwork, the po called me, and she got her uh... birth control , so its definitely happening. I can't wait. It's like a dream.

With corona stacking up, the governor hasn't had time to get through the number of peoples commutations, so everyone supposed to get out on the 19th is now pushed to the 25th. The amount of plans I have to change is a bit overwhelming.
