Default He got put on restriction

My man got caught smoking inside and got restrictions for 10 days, no calls, commissary, visit, I'm kinda angry about it because well really smoking? Was that more imporant than talking to or seein me?? Didn't tell him that because I don't wanna b the asshole for starting a fight but still uugghhh.....it's not that hard to just follow the rules....he's so close to being outta there

Is this his first time on restriction? Hopefully 10 days is enough to make him realize you're more important to him than a cig.

It's good that he had a friend call. It at least shows he has some regret. 10 days isn't long to be in the hole. How much longer until he comes home?

He's not in the hole, just no privileges, no phone, commisary, etc.....He has a date with the po board oct 28th but a pre hearing hopefully next week.....He should be home first week of November at the latest, not knowing when for sure is the worst part....so close but stilll not a definite date is the worst!! He has 317 days in on a 3 year sentence, he says that's way more time then his percentage, but I don't really know how that works, the case worker told me there is no percentage when it comes to drug charges but he seems to think different.....a for sure answer would be great!

I can't imagine not knowing a release date. You can't count down the days if you don't know when. That really stinks. I'm certainly no legal expert, and Ive never dealt with drug charges, but nearly a year seems like an awful long time. You say his pre-hearing is coming up, does that mean he's not been convicted yet, just being held on bond? Or is the hearing for a parole board?

I'm in same boat of being close with no release date and he's not able to make calls. It's brutal. This week has been especially bad. Just know there are others of us out here. One day a time.

There is no percentage when it comes to drug charges. Just think your 10 days is almost up then he can call you again. I know it's hard. My husband where he came from the whole camp was on lock down for 3 days almost killed us. That's the only way we have to communicate with them if they are to far to visit very often. I was going every weekend sometimes twice on the weekends but since he got moved I'm gonna be lucky to get there 2 times a month. Hang in there if you ever need or want to talk I'm here.

Thank you everyone....does help having ppl to talk to....10 days is up the 11th...now ifssomeone would just see him!! He has friends call me most days, just delivering little messages, he keeps asking me to call and talk to p&p but they never tell me much, his thinking, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, but im.worried that if I bug them to much it may effect their decision

They won't tell you anything. After my husband seen the parole board it was 2 weeks before they made a decision on his case. He's in for a parole violation when he gets out it will be 3 years and 9 months.

Gheez, I hope that him being on sanction for smoking doesn't affect his review with the board. Depending on what type of ticket he received for it because the board will definitely bring it up. He is too close and I'm with you I'd be upset! It's not worth it. Hope it all works out for you.
