Default Dropped charges while on county probation

Long story really short is on county probation was arrested and charged but the charges were dropped for lop (lack of prosecution). What happens now? Does he still have to sit and go before probation and wait for them to decide if they’ll violate him?

Someone who knows for sure will come to answer shortly, but I’m fairly certain that any negative interaction with the police, especially one that resulted in an arrest, even if charges were dropped, is still something he’ll have to deal with. It’s still a violation of probation.

Default Why wasn’t he released

He’s on county probation. A few people were arrest and charged because no one would take ownership of drugs. Charges were dropped why didn’t he come home if he wasn’t. Convicted! What will happen next

My best guess is his PO has placed a hold on him for violating his probation. Contact with LE, hanging out where there are drugs, and if any of the others were felons: associating with other felons.

Yes, he must wait for the probation office to make their decision.
Justice and compassion don't have to be exclusive.
