No virtuous act is quite as virtuous from the standpoint of our friend or foe as it is from our standpoint; therefore we must be saved by the final form of love, which is forgiveness.

God is the important fact, and Christ the moving force...I asked for strength and forgiveness and the air began to clear, and I could act again, but not in my own strength.

Either we are adrift in chaos or we are individuals, created, loved, upheld and placed purposefully, exactly where we are. Can you believe that? Can you trust God for that?

That is not true, because to have Faith is to be optimistic and always look up and always know better will come in the Lords Favor!!

This is the one I PM'ed you about!!! THIS IS SO NOT TRUE AND ANYONE WHO IS A REAL CHRISTIAN WILL TELL YOU!!

Phillipians 4:6 says.....Be careful for nothing; but in everything be prayer and supplication with thanksgiving liet your requests be known unto God.

Luke 6:12 says... And it came to pas in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

Please just be careful with them!

Thank you for your comments. Please remember that in all aspects of religion and spirituality there is also our own interpretation. What one may consider to be true, another may not.

God Bless.

Wisdom is knowledge applied. Head knowledge is useless on the battlefield. Knowledge stamped on the heart makes one wise.

Psalm 45
My heart overflows with a goodly theme;
I address my verses to the king;
my tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe.
You are the fairest of the sons of men;
grace is poured upon your lips;
therefore God has blessed you for ever.
Gird your sword upon your thigh, O mighty one,
in your glory and majesty!
In your majesty ride forth victoriously
for the cause of truth and to defend the right;
let your right hand teach you dread deeds!
Your arrows are sharp
in the heart of the king's enemies;
the peoples fall under you.
Your divine throne endures for ever and ever.
Your royal scepter is a scepter of equity;
you love righteousness and hate wickedness.
Therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness above your fellows;
your robes are all fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia.
From ivory palaces stringed instruments make you glad;
daughters of kings are among your ladies of honor;
at your right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir.
Hear, O daughter, consider, and incline your ear;
forget your people and your father's house;
and the king will desire your beauty.
Since he is your lord, bow to him;
the people of Tyre will sue your favor with gifts,
the richest of the people
with all kinds of wealth.
The princess is decked in her chamber with gold-woven robes;
in many-colored robes she is led to the king,
with her virgin companions, her escort, in her train.
With joy and gladness they are led along
as they enter the palace of the king.
Instead of your fathers shall be your sons;
you will make them princes in all the earth.

I will cause your name to be celebrated in all generations;
therefore the peoples will praise you for ever and ever.

Matthew 13:10-17

Then the disciples came and said to him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?" And he answered them, "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For to him who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away. This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. With them indeed is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah which says: 'You shall indeed hear but never understand, and you shall indeed see but never perceive.

Psalm 75

We give thanks to thee, O God; we give thanks;
we call on thy name and recount thy wondrous deeds.
At the set time which I appoint
I will judge with equity.
When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants,
it is I who keep steady its pillars. [Selah]
I say to the boastful, "Do not boast,"
and to the wicked, "Do not lift up your horn;
do not lift up your horn on high,
or speak with insolent neck."
For not from the east or from the west
and not from the wilderness comes lifting up;
but it is God who executes judgment,
putting down one and lifting up another.
For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup,
with foaming wine, well mixed;
and he will pour a draught from it,
and all the wicked of the earth
shall drain it down to the dregs.
But I will rejoice for ever,
I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
All the horns of the wicked he will cut off,
but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

Note: Today's Gospel reading is Matthew 14:12-24
