Default fed appeal

Google what circuit court of appeals it appears in ex My b/f 's was in the eigth circuit court of appeals. They have a site to search by case #F name even atty name. Then you can read briefs replies and opinions. You may have top use PACER a service 8 cents a page to view the docket. I found the opinions etc for free He won. Just find out what district that state is in; this was Arkansas and the court of appeals is in St. Louis. You can also call and a clerk can tell you what stage it is in good luck

Anyone have any info on federal appeals for UA shots while incarcerated? Our son is trying to file an appeal as they write him up as a refusal and he has shy bladder but it wasn't noted in his presentence report. He can go if they put him in a dry cell and give him enought time and water. 8oz doesn't do it.

believeinhim from ohio: hello thank you for all this info!!!!! I am wondering why they hold the appeals in the same county with judges who are already familiar with the case, the prosecutor and the judge who did the sentencing. Seems like it would be very biased!!!!! thanks again

Mississippi's includes some Court of Appeals info on the state's supreme court website http://www.mssc.state.ms.us/default.asp

Chinagrl23, did you find what you needed about sentence modification? Did you look at the Pro Se Guide to Appelate Procedures on the The Indiana Court of Appeals site? That guide's goal is to " is to provide general information to assist citizens in understanding the appeals process and to help non-lawyers with the basic steps and procedures for filing an appeal in the Indiana Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. The guide focuses primarily on appeals to the Indiana Court of Appeals (the intermediate-level court which hears criminal and civil appeals from Indiana’s trial courts and administrative agencies), but also deals with some types of cases heard by the Indiana Supreme Court ." http://www.in.gov/judiciary/cofc/pro..._procedure.htm
