Does anyone know about the bill S1343B? They were trying to get it passed by the end of this year so that it could be implemented this April. It cuts in half all parole and post release supervision by taking 30 days off the end for every 30 days completed. Also it would put into effect 30 day maximum for any technical parole violations such as curfew, failed drug test, or things that don't catch new charges.

Didn't passed. Parole reform recommendations were just made by a task force and submitted to Albany. Section starts in January, so it's a wait and see.
