Default The Redemption Project: Inmates with talent

This short film was filmed at the Putnamville Correctional facility. Please check out this website and the short film, esp if you have a loved one incarcerated there.

I was there when they filmed it. I talked to Johnny on the phone after reading your post. He's an amazing person. Every since your post, I've been trying to get the word out.

Thanks.

Default Redemption Project Update

Snowbaby62 posted an informative post about the Redemption Project.

The redemption project was filmed by Johnny Collins at Putnamville Correctional Facility. It is a documentary. The trailor on the website is just part of a full length documentary.

The documentary is complete and ready to be aired. The Redemption Project is looking for a distributing partner. Once a distributor is found, we will be able to watch it in its entirety.

I believe the Redemption Project is important. Johnny Collins has a brilliant idea for helping exciled citizens transform their lives. His project will go a long way towards making criminal justice more humane and more effective.

We need to support him. If he is successful, our loved ones will fair a greater chance of making a fresh start. I thank God someone is doing something to change prison for the better. Get the word out.

Thanks SnowBaby62.

Default Private Screening @ da Farm

There was a private screening of the Redemption Project at Putnamville Correctional Facility (the Farm).

One of the returning citizens in the film, Aaron Reason, was allowed to speak.

The private screening shows some of what can be done to overcome our obstacles. If we work together, all citizens, criminal justice is truly JUST.

Here is a link on the report (forewarning opens as PDF):

God bless.

Default News Clip Of Returning Citizens & Redemption Project

Here is the news clip of the Redemption Project's return to the State Farm (Putnamville Correctional Facility). It shows Aaron Reason, a returning citizen, a guy I did time with; yes, we are everywhere, but do we seem of another order - a dangerous class?

The Redemption Project didn't just whisk in and get some footage. It is obvious they are trying to help exiled citizens find a way to wholeness, else they would not have given Aaron a chance to interact with the media or the State Farm.

Thanks Johnny.

Here's a news article if you want to read more on Aaron Reason's and the Redemption Project's return visit at the State Farm:

God bless.
