Do you know anything about 309? My son has filled out the papers and I have talked to the secretary of the 309 program. But, I am not sure what it is and if it is better than where he is at.

Your son should be eligible on the date, they tell me you have to be within ten years of PE/TE, tho I have not see that in the written requirements, but I was told by the secretary, that Mr. Terry himself requires it.Hopefully your son will meet the other requirements to.I have heard good things and also bad things about 309 Programs, guess it all depends on which jail you go to.Anyway, Good Luck.Kitty

Default Brickey's

If I remember correctly, visitation was on Sat. noon till 4. There was always a long line of cars waiting for the guards to check them. They check very thoroughly. Sometimes I had to shut the car off because of the long wait in line. Then you go inside and there is another line to wait in before going in the visitation room. The first room you enter is filled with vending machines. Found out quickly the hamburgers, pizza, etc. go very fast. So I started getting what he wanted when I first went inside. Then there is a long room with table and chairs and they assign where you sit. All I know about the visitation pass is that we had to fill out a form, be approved and he had to put us on his list. Hope this helps.

Nanha is correct...... also Sunday visits are 12 to 4. I believe it is according to spelling of the last name like A-M Saturday and N-Z Sunday plus something to do with class also I think.Good Luck....Kitty
