Default Correspondence Programs Available to CDCR inmates

The following is a list of correspondence programs that are available to inmates in CDCR facilities. They are not run by CDCR and do not qualify for milestones**. However, for those who are struggling to get into programs or who have exhausted available programs, this provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate willingness and commitment to rehabilitation. Most, if not all, provide a letter or certificate to put in the inmate's C-file.

**In some facilities, GOGI is counted as an ILTAG for credit purpose. Be sure to have your loved one ask if GOGI is available on their yard before starting the correspondence courses.

Default thank you for sharing these!

I have just copied these into a letter and am sending them today. My guy is at CMF and in the EOP program so he is not allowed access to any programming and it has been a problem.

Best Regards,

Thumbs up Great

Something to look over. I find programs are really hard to come by when one is incarcerated.

Cardinal - By all means, have your son check to see if GOGI if offered on his yard. My son recently completed the class (certificate and all!) and his attitude and outlook is so much better than it was. This is one of the best programs he's taken over the years. I would highly recommend it!
