i need a website address (Prisoner Look Up Site?)

hello my fellow washington people.... i was wondering if any of you knew the web site to check a persons background and or what they are incarserated for.. if so please respond to this asap... thank you.

Here is the site for Washington DOC - there is a Criminal Background Check link on this but it is a $10.00 fee to search a name... I don't see one specifically for Washington that is free for Inmate searches...

You can call Olympia & ask them to see if the person you are looking for is in prison in our State & get his/her DOC number. You can also get some limited information such as crime, release date & prison they are in.
You can ask which county they were convicted & then research the court record if you want more info.
Our state is not involved but if you are lookin for someone in a few of these other listed states you can go to vinelink.com & cl;ick on the state you are interested in.

Unfortuntly Washington State does not have an inmate locator on the DOC site.

Here you will find out the information how to contact the DOC

No there is not any online info anywhere dealing with Washington State inmates..but a person may call Olympia and find out by name if that person is in prison & if they are what prison they are in & their DOC number. Other states like Idaho, Iowa etc do have them online for no cost that is wheer vinelink.com comes in.

this is an extremely old thread and was made before the WA DOC What You Need To Know sub forum was created.

Please go to the sub forum and click on the DOC Contact sticky. It has all the ways and means of getting ahold of the WA DOC.

There is also a thread regarding how to find someone inside the system in the sub forum.
