Default Volunteers of America HH - Indianapolis, IN Questions

Hello,

I have a family member who will be transferring to a Halfway House either in Georgia or Indiana.

He wanted me to ask a few questions about the VOA in Indianapolis so he can decide which location would be more ideal for him as we have family in both areas-

1) Is it still located at 611 N. Capital Avenue in Downtown?

2) Do they accept SO (sex offenders)?

3) Is it Female/Male?

4) Review/Opinions of how things are run there (getting passes, staff, food, workout area, etc)?

Thanks for any info you can provide!

It is still at 611 N Capital.

They used to accept SO. Things change and I don't know 100% if that has changed.

It is a male facility.

There is no work out area that I know of. They will need to obtain a job and pay once they get one. Visitation was decent. Passes are possible there are still rules and they have to be followed as it is still part of the prison system.

Thank you for the response, it's much appreciated. I'll do some more digging and see what else I can find out. I'll pass along the info.
