Default DV help and support required in NC

I need some advice on what to advice a lady who is 67 and living on disability benefits. She is in a physically abusive relationship and wants to get away. She has very little money and her only family is her incarcerated son.
She is in NC are there any NC or national helplines or resources where she can get help and maybe temprary accomodation.
Any advice would be appreciated

Here you go - elder abuse is common enough that the government has set up to help: read through THIS page and glean what you need to help her with.

Thank you I just want to help her get out of this situation and be somewhere safe.
I will pass these numbers onto to her.

If this is a domestic violence situation she has the same access as anyone else to women's shelters, etc. Her local women's shelter may not be publically listed but a call to the health department or non emergency number at the police or sheriff's office should be helpful in finding the contact information for the shelter. Some NC counties use the 211 system for government and charitable information. If her county utilizes that they would also be able to direct her to services for either elder or domestic abuse in her area.
