I'm hoping not to spend a ton this year...my largest single expense will be the $200 on gas I have to spend to get to my parents and back. I staggered what I bought this year so I only have 2 people left...$100 on my boyfriends books and something for my best friend. I've spent $120 thus far on what I've bought for my parents/sibling so I should end up around $300 once I'm done. Happily my $500 Christmas plan will come together

Not planning to spend any. Money is tight this year. I am asking that none of my family/friends buy me anything because I can't afford a gift for them in return.

I have a large family so we draw names of Brothers or Sisters, Nieces and Nephew in or out of college and buy one gift for them and their wife/husband, and I have one nephew still in high school so we all buy for him, and we include my boyfreinds daughter so she gets something from everyone, my mother passed away 2 years ago so buy for my dad, then a couple of my boyfriends sisters kids, and a couple friends, so mine should not be more than $200 max.

Ours is the same as last year and all the other years. No honey home = no Christmas- Thanksgiving (outside of the banquet they have at his facility)- No Mohammad's birthday, no Festival of Lights, no birthdays- Zip! (Except for maybe Lent or Ramadan) I am just like that. I get what presents I want and need during the year but their is no focused occasion or event to celebrate getting a present.
