Default Inmate tested positive for THC

Hi everyone,

I wanted to know if anyone could let me know what could happen to my boyfriend. He is an inmate at Givens Hall in Orofino, Idaho. He just got drug tested and tested positive for THC he only has 4 months left to top out and has been in the whole for a week already and they didn't find any weed on him but I got a letter today saying that he might get moved back to Boise... Can they give him more time for testing positive for THC? Any insight into the situation would be appreciated, surprise, surprise the prison won't tell me anything!

Sorry for the late response. (Obviously this Idaho section is real slow.)

Nope, since your boyfriend is topping out they can't do anything to him but keep him in the hole until he tops out. Short of getting in a fight and beating someone so bad that the state presses new charges, or assaulting a guard or something, they can't hold him past his top-out date no matter how many Disciplinary Offense Reports (DORs) he gets.

Tell him not to worry, he's home free.
