It was just a stupid burglary. 1st degree, so it was a strike.. He got 4 years, the judge doubled it to 8 and then added 5, one for each felony. All these enhancements are ridiculous

But since he has criminal priors they say its a mandatory minimum 15.
Man that's terrible!

My love had armed robbery 1 and got 20 years!!!! His appeal dropped it to 15 years. He's been in for 10 years and hoping the appeal his lawyer just submitted gets him released. But if not we got under 4 years left. November 2015 ERD and March 2016 MRD

13 years at 80%, because it's his 2nd strike. I think in California they can add enhancements like crazy..or is that everywhere? It's this stupid 3 strikes. He has nothing even remotely violent on his record.

Mine didn't have any prior felonies....just misdemeanors. But he had robbery x's 4
Two aggravated robberies and two bank robberies. He took a plea and they dropped the aggravated part. He got 12 @ 30%

My sweetie was convicted of possession of a firearm by a serious, violent felon and habitual. He had priors so the habitual actually is more years than the firearm charge. He took a plea and got 50 yrs with credit for time already served. Were getting close to the 4 yr mark with 21 yrs to go. There has been so much BS in his case, people playing games, misrepresentation by the attny. I'm really at my wits end. My baby needs help legally to get through this part of the chaotic mess. Even if he could get his sentence altered to where the charges ran concurrently Instead of consecutively would help.

He is not my husband was just a friend, but I am starting to like him more now. He go 18 years for 2nd degree murder. He is appealing it because the murder was during a drug deal and the other guy pulled a guy on him first. He is hopeful to get out soon. He has done 12.5 years and if no appeal will do 5.5 more.
