Default Fulham staff ... Go you good things

Hubby has just had three extra days knocked off his sentence because of Fulham's industrial action leading to lock downs
As far as I am concerned they can strike for the next two months.. 4 days for one is the best deal going at the moment... keep up the good work Fulham...anything to send him home quicker Jenni

Strike Strike Strike Union Proud! Strike Strike Strike

Just spoke to Fulham, they have had five "strike" days so far.

Sooooooooooooooo over the moon, even though they have only calculated the days for people immediately effected so far (being released within the next 6-8 weeks)
*drum roll please*

IT
MEANS HE IS GOING TO BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS
...

Haven't told the kids yet and definitely won't til Fulham actually puts his new count on paper but I'm dusting off his Santa suit as we speak .....

Jenni does the happy dance all over the place

Hey everyone... I am not sure how many of you have LO's in Fulham at the moment and if you do, you are probably keeping an eye on all this anyway but the rolling work stoppages will continue for a while longer so if your loved one has more than 6 months left ask them not to apply for the days yet because when they put in the accurate account later on down the track the response can be held up due to two sets of paper work.
Locked down again today but visits are not being effected
Jenni

Hey There Mickeybug! Yes they are but I doubt it will be for much longer the GEO group have threatened to cut the guards wages by up to 63% if they don't resume "normal" duties.....so unless fairwork aus get involved I'd say they are going to have to stop the strike action.
BUT he has 30 days off so far....so we are both over the moon and will take what he can get Jenni

Just sayin'

Due to the incredible pressure of mail taking up to ten days to be posted out of Fulham... the 9 weeks of frozen meals ...and the massive issues regarding phone use and contacting loved one in the two or so hours that mainstream prisoners can use a phone some of them got a little aggravated on Monday and again yesterday. Kicked cell doors and yelling at guards. NO ONE HAS BEEN HARMED. On Monday this caused a lock down that lasted for 27 hours.
Afterwards the Sentence management unit met with some of the prisoners to hear their concerns. Until that point they were not aware of the issues regarding meals or communication with the outside. Two days has been granted for the 27 hours and talks held today between union officials and management failed in reaching agreement ... so at this point the EMD's or strike action is continuing on and off.
I know a few people on this site this directly effects and I hope this information is useful to them.
My husband nearly lost it after the 27 hours... it is a strain on all of them I am sure... BUT he is counting the days down and we both hope it continues.

*ticker adjusted to suit Jenni
