Default Visits on Fridays!?

Does anyone know if they do allow visits on Fridays? Or has anyone ever visited on a Friday?

The only friday visits that I know of are for those offenders (G5) that are housed in expansion cellblock (superseg) facilities such as Lewis and Smith units. Visitation is allowed throughout the week by appointment.

Concur that they occur in very limited circumstances. General population offenders are not going to see weekday visitation with any of the people on their visiting lists in most situations...

As to having visited on a Friday (or other weekday)...I could be a real smartass and tell you yes, but my access to persons on units falls under a completely different set of guidelines (Access to Courts), so it really isn't the same as what you were asking

My boyfriend is G5, but he is at McConnell Unit... I ask because i just started a new job and cannot seem to get a weekend day off yet. Also, it would be really nice if i can visit on Friday, since i have a Friday off!

When my hub was at Allred (in Seg) I was able to have Friday visits, probably 3 or 4 times (which was every time I had requested it). I would call and speak with their head of classification and see if they will schedule it for you. Good Luck

I called today and they said only Friday visits for seg! I hope that is true, but they should do it for closed custody too, because that gets busy as well! I guess i just have to try and get a day off in a few weeks, or wait till next month... ):
