Talking April 2012 - UK Chit-Chat Thread

Bloomin' Eck!
It's APRIL!

I swear I am only just paying my credit card off for Christmas.

Well, my news is that I got married on the 4th to the love of my life.
I am absolutely chuffed to bits and am currently in Singapore on a short honeymoon break.

We never had a honeymoon the first time we got married (1989) as we didn't have a pot to pee in, but now we can afford to have a couple of days away.
Hooray!

So, what are you lot up to? How's the weather?

Rach xx

Hope you're both having a fabulous break! The weather over here's been typically British - the last week in March was blazing hot, then we had snow, Easter was cold, grey and wet, and today we had a ferocious hailstorm. Apart from that it's all quiet, unless anyone else has anything more interesting to report.

I'm here again too. I agree with Lisa, STILL no change in the weather - wet and windy. I had a mini-flood on the dining room windowsill but can't find where it's coming from. Apart from that, it's all quiet!

Ooh Stoneite I have a leak like that at my back door. I couldnt find it for ages and it turned out to be a split in the seal on the UPVC window frame

Wow we have gale force winds here, I am sure my roof is going to be a few slates short by the morning

I have just watched Britains Got Talent and tears were streaming down my face watching the little boy Malachi. I just wanted to hug him
