I do sometimes but really they make me miss him more. I can read a few recent ones but older ones are hard. He reads them over and over and has favorites.

I use to have to. It would make me feel closer to him. Now that some time has passed i don't feel the need to do it anymore. Today's letter i will read again. Then i will read it again when i respond to it. Then it goes on my stack until tomorrows letter. So one of his letters is read 3 x's.

I re-read his letters, especially on days when I really miss him. They've also helped at times where we've had an argument (usually something that's honestly not very big) and it throws perspective into what we're really doing.

I re read his letters all the time.. especially at night while laying in bed, it helps make me feel closer to him. I have told him that when i sit with his letters that to me it feels as close to a "date" as i can get. I treasure each and every word. Some of the letters are getting worn from being read so many times

Sometimes re-reading his letters make me miss him even more, and make me even more upset. Depends on the day though.

No your not alone! Haha I re-read his letters too! I have letters from every day since the 16th of february that I go through! . It's really nice to have them and to refresh as to what our main goal is after all of this and I personally love reading them and knowing that we are finally really working on any of our issues that we had/have.

I have gotten out all my letters and read them, but do not do it often.

Peace~

We email a few times per day as long as he has access to the computer room so he doesn't send too many letters...about 2-3 per month. And they are not very long...maybe 2-4 pages. Half the time he pays someone for cute drawings. But they are always very emotional love letters from his heart and they make me cry so I cherish each one like its gold. I re-read all of them about once a week when I'm having those really bad days of missing him or when the phones and computers are shut down. Just today I was thinking about copying my favorite parts from each letter and putting into one document....maybe that's weird. Anyway, I never ask him to write me because I know it takes a LOT for him to express himself especially with English not being his first language. He always apologizes "my vocabulary of nice words is not so rich"....so cute! A few weeks ago he wrote me two letters in one week and I was feeling super spoiled! So no, you are not alone! I also love the idea that the letter is something he touched. Sometimes I stare at the envelope and the way he writes my name. It's beautiful.

OMG do I ever re-read.... n re-read ..n re-read

Side note for any of u that have seen the movie Pratical Magic (which is one of my favs-makes me cry like a baby but I watch it every Halloween..lol) Sandra Bullock says to the detective "How many times have you read my letter?" he says later I've read it 100 times.....damn yup....

and so funny..I do the same thing...look at the way he writes his return address..trace it with my fingers cuz I know he's been there...do the same to his letters..see him in my mind..that big handsum man of mine concentrating and writing these sweet words to me..smiling to himself when its a really good thought...licking that envelope..ooppss sorry... lol

when I haven't heard in a minute or having an extra low day I take that box out and start from the beginning...and u know when I'm done.....

I AM SUPERWOMAN

Yes I do (: sometimes I start from the beginning...it's a lot to go through. When I'm missing him I'll grab a random one out of the pile & read it.. it always takes me back to when I first read it.. ahhh I love my man.

Default Reading letters over and over

I am reading letters over and over. Mostly because I am deparate to know what is going on. My friend was recently transferred to Ely, NV and his letters are so worrying! There are just too many rules and it sounds like a nightmare of a place to be in! If there is anyone that can tell me more about the rules in Ely I will sincerely appreciate it. Especially the mailing system. I have sent over 20 letter and I know to date he was only given one because I put stickers on the envelopes in the hope to add colour and a smile to his day!

Boy Oh Boy!!! Is this thread for me or what!!! I am the Queen of re reading his letters. I do it sooooo much that its like a obsession now. Sometimes I dont even realize I am reaching for them. They are in perfect order from the very first one till the most recent. I was thinking I was crazy doing this LOL.
