So E got his matrix baxk and it was an 11. They told him that carries a 10 mionth MAX sentence, but hte word on the street is that most are only serving about half the matrix. Anyone know anything about the truth of that? Anyone had someone released lately?
Ok so he finally had his probation violation sentencing yesterday, (which they rescheduled w/o us knowing because they found out I knew when it was,) but when they did the matrix they said they took this charge into account, yesterday they revoked probation and went to the original sentence of 365 days, and asked that it be served concurrent and at the prison. So... I am assuming this wont really change the max sentence on the matrix score since they took that charge into consideration already right? Im confused! It was nice to get to see him even if it was only for 2 minutes though!
My husband has served over his matrix! They would not let him out early at all -- in fact, they held on to him for an extra month! He should have been home already.. he will be home next week for sure though Anyway, they realized they messed up on his original matrix and it turns out that he did 6 months more than he should have.
He is considered a violent offender, though, so that is probably why. If he didn't have that label, I bet he would have gotten released like 4 years ago.
From what I have been told, they usually go with what the matrix is.
