my husband is at fountain....prayin for transfer be he there now
I recently found out that someone I care for deeply has been transferred to Fountain from Loxley Work Release. I haven't had any communication with him in several months and don't know why he was transferred. I assume he got in some kind of trouble but I'm not sure.
Everyone that has a loved one at Fountain needs to write letters to the Southern Center of Human Rights with detailed complaints about the living conditions, food that is served, the daily violence etc that goes on at Fountain. I've spoke with them a few times. The more information they get they said the more likely they will be able to take action.

A very close friend of mine is at Fountain. They have been on lockdown for some time now due to recent violence. I am going to visit him for the first time in June. We grew up together but I have not seen him in about ten years. I know he has been locked up for seven years and has been at Fountain a little over a year now. Can you ladies give me some detail on your experiences there?

My fiancé is there. He was transferred there from mobile work release because he caught a disciplinary for a cell phone that wasn't even his. It was on his rack & no one would claim it. I hadn't seen him since December. It's a 180 days restriction if they get caught with a cell phone. Hopefully he is fixing to get out on probation or be moved back to work release. I hope so. I miss him so much.
That place is disgusting. It's nothing but drugs inside that prison. The prisoners are running that place. It's horrible. The drugs, the food, the discrimination against the white men & everything about it. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT IT ASAP.
