Is anyone familiar with the JetBlue terminal at JFK?
I am flying into JFK from Phoenix in a couple of weeks, with a connection to Buffalo.
I only have 35 minutes between flights, I was just wondering if this is enough time....assuming my flight is on time, of course! And I would like to think that JetBlue wouldn't ticket me like this if it wasn't. I have looked at the map on the JFK website, and it doesn't seem too bad, but I was looking for anyone who's been there for some insight.
Many of the flight gates are ok, and I would hope they would not only give you 35 minutes to connect to a flight where you had to get clear across the other side of the airport. The one thing you may want to look at is that the last time I flew into JFK with JetBlue, they utilized an axiliary terminal where you have to take a short shuttle bus ride to get to it. Although it isn't a long ride, it is a hassle and would be a pain in the ass if you only had a short time to get to it. I have no idea if they even use the aux terminal anymore or how far in advanced they assign the gates, but it wouldn't hurt to call the airline a week before to see if they have any info about what your between-flight commute will be like. Good luck with that.
