this is a tough subject for me because i already feel violated and resentful for them searching my property. i understand why they do it and i know that i have to submit but that doesn't mean that i will EVER get used to being treated like a criminal.

i hear where you're coming from tho about seeing your man. my answer is that i would submit but i wouldn't visit near as much.

I would at this point in our relationship because I'd do anything to be with him. If we were married, it would be a little more difficult. There's a line I wouldn't dare cross as a married woman. I have the utmost respect for all you ladies who said you wouldn't as married women

my man is real jealous so he'd be fuming!! i suppose i might the first time just so visits don't get taken away, but i wouldn't do it again and i doubt i'd tell him right away. he would NOT want me to come if he knew that was happening

On this one I am with DayWalker ... but I would like to sing "Haters" by Lyfe Jennings (lol) ... but seriously right now the BOP makes me take off my shoes any and all jewelry, the wire out of my nice not so inexpensive bras, then I have to hold the hooks on the back (because I am top heavy the detecter pick up the metal), on top of all that I am told what I can and can not wear, even though my money pay for my clothes ... then I am usually chosen for pat searches at least 2 or 3 times a week ... so me going into a room with one female CO to be stripped searched is not going to feel any more violated (if I looked at it in that light) than I already feel when going to visit the man that I love. Honestly I take it all with a slice of humor, and honestly I guess I have been blessed all the COs pretty much treat me with respect and are very nice and cordial with me (maybe because I visit as often as they work lol). Now does my man like the fact that I have to go through all that I have to in order to visit him, NO he hates it and often apologize for it, but for me it is what it is. There is a very high cost of loving and visiting a loved one in prison, and maybe sometimes the cost should not be so but for me right now it is. And "for me" right now it is a cost I gladly pay because I love my man and he loves himself some ME ... and I will do what I need to do legally without compromising my dignity or integrity.

***Me saying that I will gladly do this or anything else to visit my man because I love him, is not me trying to insinuate that someone who say they will not do this does not love their loved one. That is not my feelings at all, we all have our limits and the BOP and DOC try to push those limits often***

I would do it in a heartbeat, and make them all feel stupid at the same time. Maybe get a couple of them in trouble for looking a little too much, all in all I would do it just so they could see what they can never have....
