are you sure they didnt say g3 detention? g3 (the tier) is the hole in bordentown. you normally get put there for behavioral infractions. he can be there up to 15 days. if they dont have room in PC they may have put him there for holding.
whoever his emergency contact is should receive or already received a phone call from the councelor telling them he's there. they wont tell you why or for how long, just that he's there and cant have visits or make calls.

james was on g3 for 15 days cuz he was being 'rebellious' for a few weeks and eventually the CO wrote him up for it.
he wont be allowed to bring any of his possessions to the hole with him except for his bible and mail. he had to leave his pictures, books/magazines, and commissary behind.
he cant order commissary while he is there except for maybe cosmetic/hygeinic...i forget.
he cant make phone calls. no visits.
he will receive one piece of paper and one envelope every other day. theyll put the postage on it.
he comes out to shower everyday or atleast 3 times a week and IF a nice CO is willing to bend rules he can sneak a phone call...but thats not very likely.

thanks!! you's are the best! i don't know why this is happening!! he isn't the type to start problems?!?! I want to know what happen!
yeah they wont tell anyone what happened because of confidentiality laws and such...but its probably because he got written up for stupid stuff, got into a fight, or is waiting for a spot in PC to open up and they put him in detention in the meantime because its segregated.
ps-what happened to the thanks button?

Oh god! It's crazy because Jim isn't rebellious, nor does he start fights. But he wouldn't exactly stop one. He was talking about how some people that he came with from CRAF wanted to check into PC, but Jim was adamit about saying you don't do that. I spoke to him Sunday night and I know he had orientation on Monday. I don't know what could have possibly happen. It sucks because they won't tell me anything. But I should expect a letter eventually right?
why do they do this to us?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!? Gina i said to Meri before, you are God. You should publish a book. Or start a prisoner's loved ones consultant agency lol whatever that would involve.

like Jen said...yes he will. i dont think they will let him keep pictures if you send them tho...i forget. for some reason i think when i sent james pics because they wouldnt let him bring any to the hole with him they showed him the pics and then put them in his property..he couldnt actually keep them. ill ask him at lunch time when he calls.
Ok so update, we spoke to Jim's social worker and he assured us he is fine. He also said he didn't know what happen. However, Jim is in TCC, whats that? Is it different thatn G3? The Social worker was like adamant about telling us he was ok.
