Good news...I thought we could only send Money Orders and books from the publisher, but we can send care packages through www.mycarepack.com. It's a VT approved Canteen site where you can order MO's, food, toiletries, tee shirts etc. It's kinda fun to "shop" for your loved one. Have Fun!
Thanks MM , I called Windsor to make sure they were familiar with this and they were. So i went to the site and typed in the ID # and name needed to place the order and i came up empty.
So i called the # given on the site and got an answering machine , that says they will return your call within 24 or 48 hours ( i forget which ).
Well , after 2 days i didnt get that call back so i called again and clicked the option to talk to an actual person , who couldnt help me at all. So i got pushed to the voice mail AGAIN , and left another message.
That was last Wed , and i havent heard anything back ,Ugh!
I dont know why they offer a cust service # if they wont return your calls.
Hi, I was going to try today. You can also call their number to see what is up. It's in MA 518-782-0025. My friend is at Southern State CF in Springfield you can put an order in as late as Tuesday and they will get it on Friday. Just be careful with sending $$ through it- it's supposed to get deposited directly into their account (oh you need your loved ones ID #) and it usually makes it. I print out a second receipt and mail it to my friend, just so he can double check he got everything. Good luck and have fun shopping!!!
The Vermont DOC website http://www.doc.state.vt.us/informati...-packages/view has a PDF file available for the 2007-2008 window for Holiday packages. It begins on December 15th and continues through January 15th. Inmates are allowed one package per week for this time period at 15.00, 20.00 or 25.00 cost per package. What they'll allow is posted in the PDF, but the site to order remains the same: http://mycarepack.com/
