Getting an end of solitary confinement date in federal prisons can be a yes, or a no. If convicted in a conduct violation hearing, the answer is yes. If "under investigation", the answer is no. I know someone who was "investigated" in the SHU for more than 2 years right after 9/11 and eventually released without "charges".

The bop bureaucrats find ways to do whatever they want to do.
