I am bout 95% sure a judge will not sign off on the adoption of a child to an inmate. When you adopt someone, you have to swear before the Court that you will support that child financially, emotionally, and every other basic need. An inmate in a prison can not support a child financially. Wait until he's released and you will have a better chance.
