Rockchalk1- another resource I found was a listing of the BOP clinical practice guidelines. It includes one for dental health which you may want to download and read. Since I can't post links yet, do a google search for "BOP: Health Management Resources". You'll find it listed on the BOP webpage that lists clinical guidelines for many medical conditions. Thank you! I was able to copy and paste the info on periodontal disease to him so he can see what he "should" be getting and use it if necessary. Of course he will probably still only get the one cleaning, but they will hopefully let me send in the proxabrush. They did give him some version of one, but it wasn't as good as what he had here.
