Hi Catherine,

I just heard from my fiance who was transferred to CRAF last Thursday. They are not allowed to call cellphones, you must get a home phone and setup an account with Global Tell Link, you put money under your house number and then they are able to call you.

My fiance said that things aren't half bad, the food is better, they are in two man cells, they only receive one hour a day which they are allowed to leave their cells in which time they have to shower and attempt to use the phone, he said there is only one phone working where you first arrive "downstairs" and then after a few days you are transferred "upstairs".

He said he saw people there from County who had left over 3 weeks ago so I don't anticipate this moving quickly. But overall he didn't sound to stressed so it's not as bad as you imagine. If you have the ability to make a call though be prepared to have alot of people asking him to have you make a call on their behalf.

All the best.
