Thumb Correctional Facility: Total lockdown coming?

My friend tells me they cannot leave their cells without wearing one of the 3 masks they have been issued with and it looks like total lockdown is coming, as they've been told they're allowed to spend an extra $50 at the Comissary this time.
They're all terrified :(
