Federal, State and Immigration Issues

My husband was sentenced in federal court to 48 months on Friday. He has state cases that were pending federal sentencing. He is in this country on a green card. The lawyer and judge recommended Greenville. Someone said he will be at a prison for people that eventually will be deported. Are there specific prisons for people that will have immigration issues as well. Wondering if anyone knows. Also to see if the state cases will have concurrent sentences does he have to be brought back to Illinois to do that? He has multiple cases in Illinois. Will they be lumped together. Federal case was in a different state. What a fricking nightmare.

His lawyer can determine what ICE has in store for him. With the current emphasis on deportations, don't be surprised if that is what he is facing.

I already know that is a strong possibility.
